Which Tool Shall I Use to Build FPGA Code for Frame Grabbers

To build your FPGA code for your frame grabber, two Xilinx tools are available:

• Vivado Design Suite
• ISE Design Suite

Starting with the mE5 generation, Vivado is the recommended tool to use.

In some occasions, synthesizing code in Vivado took much less time than in ISE. Vivado was more than four times faster than ISE.
