Software#

You can operate the frame grabber using the Framegrabber SDK or the pylon Software Suite.

  • If you want to operate only Basler cameras with your frame grabber, use the pylon Software Suite.
  • If you want to operate Basler and/or other cameras with your frame grabber, use the Framegrabber SDK.

However, marathon frame grabbers can't be operated with pylon, and Interface Cards can't be operated with the Framegrabber SDK. Therefore, see in the matrix below which frame grabber can be operated with which software:
