What is microDiagnostics?#

Basler microDiagnostics is a tool provided and installed together with the Framegrabber SDK.

Using microDiagnostics, you can perform the following tasks:

  • Flash the frame grabber with up to 7 new applets (marathon frame grabbers)
  • Run various diagnostic routines directly on the frame grabber, including
    • Applet tests
    • Hardware tests
    • Performance tests
  • Activate PoCL support for PoCL cameras (marathon frame grabbers)
  • Activate the Turbo DMA mode
  • License your frame grabber and applets if required
