SDK#

The pylon SDK is a flexible and modular platform for easy camera setup. It runs on multiple platforms with a rich set of APIs.

The pylon SDK supports camera access, device setup and configuration, reading, processing, and viewing of data streams, RGB-D registration, and frame synchronization.

To operate Basler Stereo mini cameras, you also need the pylon Supplementary Package for Stereo mini.

The supplementary packages includes the following features:

• Access and control of camera devices
• Control of frame synchronization and alignment
• Acquisition of point cloud data
• pylon 3D Viewer for camera testing and evaluation
